Peace

When the struggles of life get the best of you, how and where do you find peace?  It is so easy to get sucked into the negativity and the sick feeling that comes over you.  What is the difference between those who bounce out of it quickly and those who fall into deep depression and anxiety?   The answers are difficult to ascertain.
Meditation is always a great option, however there are lots of people who have difficulty sitting still and shutting off their mind.  Turning to friends typically works well for me.  Sometimes you need a sympathetic ear coupled with some great strategies.  For those of you who are not fortunate enough to have anybody in your life with whom you can talk, I recommend writing things down.  This can prove very therapeutic.  When you see your struggles written in black and white,  it can sometimes enable you to see things more clearly.   Exercise is also a very helpful option.  It tires you which enables you to sleep better.  Exercise also gives you a place to let go of your frustration.  Many also turn to God with prayer.
Whatever works for you is fine, we are all different.  The important thing is to have a means to help you get to a place of peace and tranquility, ideally without the aid of prescription drugs.
One last thing,  we all need to look within to ensure that we are not causing our own problems.  Sometimes we are our own worst enemy.
Have a wonderful day filled with peace and tranquility.
